Welcome to the Visit Down Under Website
We are people who have been "down under" and know what a fantastic part of the world it is for holidays.  Think of the advantages of going to Australia and New Zealand!  We (the British) have a strong historical tie with them dating back to the days of Captain Cook, over 200 years ago, so go and find out about their history, you'll find it fascinating.  We share a common language (almost) so there are no problems with communicating with the natives.  We have a strong competitive rivalry with both countries in sports, especially, Rugby Union and Cricket, so why mot go and watch England play there?  Finally, on the whole, the Aussies and the Kiwis like to see us and chat to us about what's going on in 'Blighty'.

The site contains information about regional activities in each country, with the emphasis on adventure or activity holidays.  There are sections devoted to particular areas of interest such as walking, skiing, etc. and there are sections concerned with accommodation options and flight information.
