Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory and being tropical has an all year round temperature of about 32º CDarwin is an excellent base from which to explore the coastline of the Timor sea, the states national parks and the outback.  The vast majority of the area is desert and, as such, is only sparsely populated.
